My Adventures in Learning
My affinity for technology started at a very young age. I was apart of the students who were able to have computers in their classrooms. Instead of the machines collecting dust in the corner, my teachers devised great lessons to incorporate technology as far back as I can remember in grade school. From these experiences, I was hooked.
Flash forward to seven years ago, I began my teaching career at The Stanley Clark School, and I knew I wanted my students to have the same experiences that I did as a student. While I did well to bring technology into the classroom, I know I needed to further my understanding of technology integration into my classroom. Thus, I started traveling to more conferences, presenting what I was doing with my students, and started my master's degree at Boise State in January 2012.
Along the way I have learned a lot about how technology can be integrated into the classroom and beyond. This is just beginning of my adventure and I can't wait to see what path I take in the future.
